Welcome to my world of photography, where passion meets four decades of experience capturing the natural beauty of Canada.

My Journey

My love affair with photography began over 45 years ago when I built my first darkroom at age 14 in 1974. This early passion led me to pursue formal education in journalism at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, where I graduated in 1983. Seeking to further refine my craft, I continued my photographic studies at the prestigious Western Academy of Photography in Victoria, BC in 1986-87.

Professional Development

During the following decade, while working in the photo retail industry, I dedicated myself to building an extensive photo archive. This period was instrumental in developing my expertise and deepening my passion for nature and landscape photography. I've embraced the digital photography revolution, combining my love for technology with my photographic vision to create stunning imagery.

Current Work

Today, I specialize in landscape and nature imagery of Canada, with an archive of over 2,000 images hosted on this website. I'm proud to be shooting stock photography for Alamy, sharing Canada's breathtaking landscapes and wildlife with audiences worldwide.
